We are pleased to support and share this fantastic lockdown project. A card game called Chip & Collect, created by one of our families – a real positive from a very challenging time!
“Chip & Collect started with an inspired idea as all great ideas do, and with precious time together we were able to bring it to card game life. First with the bird illustrations (designed by one of our students), then basic rules and box design. We play tested lots until we realised we had something very special.
We found a graphic artist who saw our vision and brought the children’s game illustrations to beautiful digital life. A prototype ‘real copy’ was made at Wensum Print in Norwich, which made everything feel very real.
We shot a promo Kickstarter video on Great Yarmouth beach 2 weeks ago. This location is where our initial inspiration came from whilst feeding the many flocks of birds.
With props, script and lots of takes (very educational!) we called it a ‘wrap’. Then on Tuesday of this week we launched Chip & Collect on funding platform Kickstarter for the world to see, like and hopefully back us so we can mass produce.”
